Home Storage Design Process

Our home storage design starts with a phone call to your local independently owned and operated Tailored Living franchise to schedule a free in-home consultation

• The Tailored Living consultant will arrive at your home for the free in-home consultation, in which the consultant will ask you lots of questions to understand how the space will be used, like:
  • Who will be using the space: adult, child, someone with limited mobility?
  • Where will the trash can and shredder go?
  • What kind of chair will you use? Or do you prefer to use a balance ball or stand?
  • Show me how you work in the space now.
  • How many functions does the space need to accommodate?
  • How many people will use the space at any given time?
  • What would you really like to see included in your storage solution?
  • What’s important to you?
  • How often do you change hobbies? Buy new equipment? Expand your collection? 
   
• For the next part of the home storage design process, the consultant will measure the space to determine exactly how much room we need to design for.
  Then, the consultant will use our proprietary 3-D design software, D’Vinci, to provide you with various organization or storage solutions for your space. 
• Different configurations
• Different color families
• Different accessories
• When you decide on a solution, we’ll get your order in to production, perform our customary Quality Assurance inspection , and then  arrange an installation date that is convenient for you
• On installation day, we’ll arrive to install your new storage solution or choice of flooring. We’ll work carefully and efficiently to ensure your order is installed properly and quickly so you can get right back into the space
